Trip Overview
Island Peak (6,189m), also known as Imja Tse, is one of Nepal’s most popular trekking peaks, offering both an exhilarating climbing experience and breathtaking Himalayan views. This 18-day adventure combines the Everest Base Camp trek with an exciting summit ascent, making it ideal for trekkers looking to take their first step into mountaineering.
Our journey begins in Kathmandu, where we explore its cultural highlights before flying to Lukla, the gateway to the Everest region. Trekking through Namche Bazaar, Tengboche, Dingboche, and Everest Base Camp, we gradually acclimatize while witnessing the stunning landscapes of the Khumbu region. The climb to Island Peak is technically straightforward but requires good physical fitness and basic mountaineering skills. From the summit, enjoy panoramic views of Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, and Makalu.
