Day 01 – Arrival in Kathmandu

Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, our office personnel will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel in Kathmandu. The capital of Nepal, Kathmandu, lies at the heart of the Kathmandu Valley, the political, cultural, and historical center of the country. The urban area is actually composed of two cities: Kathmandu and Patan (Lalitpur).

After settling in, embark on a cultural excursion to Pashupatinath Temple, one of Nepal’s most sacred Hindu shrines. Situated on the banks of the Bagmati River, this UNESCO World Heritage Site is dedicated to Lord Pashupatinath, the national deity of Nepal. Witness holy sadhus performing rituals and experience the spiritual atmosphere of this extensive temple complex.

Next, visit Boudhanath Stupa, the largest stupa in Nepal and a major pilgrimage site for Buddhists worldwide. The enormous white dome and gilded spire attract devotees and travelers alike, who walk around the stupa in reverence and chant mantras. This evening, soak in the spiritual ambiance of Kathmandu’s most iconic religious sites.

Day 02 – Patan, Kathmandu Durbar Square & Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple) Sightseeing

Today, explore the rich cultural and architectural heritage of the Kathmandu Valley. Begin with Patan (Lalitpur), the “City of Beauty,” located just across the Bagmati River from Kathmandu. Patan is renowned for its ancient temples, exquisite craftsmanship, and historic squares. Visit Patan Durbar Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where intricately carved temples, palaces, and courtyards showcase centuries of artistry and devotion.

Next, visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, the historic heart of Nepal’s capital. This UNESCO-listed complex features royal palaces, courtyards, and a dense concentration of temples and shrines, offering a glimpse into the city’s rich dynastic history and traditional Newar architecture.

Continue to Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple), perched atop a hill with panoramic views of Kathmandu Valley. Ascend the ancient stone steps while observing devotees circumambulating the stupa and soaking in the spiritual atmosphere.

Day 03 – Kathmandu to Pokhara

After breakfast, depart for Pokhara, a picturesque city nestled at the foot of the Himalayas. The 210 km journey takes approximately seven hours and passes through charming villages, terraced farmlands, and scenic rivers.

Optional activities en route include river rafting on the Trishuli River or visiting Manakamna Temple, the “Goddess of Fulfilled Wishes,” accessible via a 10-minute cable car ride that offers stunning panoramic views. Upon arrival in Pokhara, enjoy the tranquility of this lakeside city with the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges as a backdrop.

Day 04 – Pokhara to Jomsom & Muktinath

Take an early morning flight to Jomsom, a remote village in the Mustang region with breathtaking mountain views. Upon arrival, walk a short distance to your hotel. Please note that accommodation in Jomsom is basic, and luggage transfer is assisted by porters (15 kg per adult, 7 kg per child).

Visit Muktinath Temple, a sacred pilgrimage site for both Hindus and Buddhists. Cross the Kali Gandaki River via a narrow footbridge and then take a shared jeep along a dirt road to reach the temple. A short walk leads to the sanctum, where you can witness rituals and soak in the serene Himalayan surroundings. Return to Jomsom for overnight stay.

Day 05 – Jomsom to Pokhara & Local Sightseeing

Fly back to Pokhara in the morning. In the afternoon, visit Bindebasini Temple, one of the oldest temples in Pokhara, dedicated to Goddess Durga. Enjoy panoramic views of the Himalayas and explore the surrounding bazaar.

Next, visit Devi’s Fall (Patale Chango), a dramatic waterfall that plunges into an underground tunnel, and Gupteshwor Cave, known for its limestone formations and sacred significance. Photography is restricted inside the cave. End the day exploring Pokhara’s charming lakeside areas.

Day 06 – Sarangkot Sunrise & Drive to Lumbini

Rise early for sunrise at Sarangkot, a hilltop viewpoint offering unmatched views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. Adventure enthusiasts may opt for paragliding from the summit.

Afterward, drive to Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha, located in the Terai plains. Visit the Sacred Garden, Maya Devi Temple, Ashokan Pillar, and international monasteries built by countries such as Japan, Myanmar, Indonesia, and the USA. Explore the gardens by rickshaw for a unique and immersive experience.

Day 07 – Lumbini to Chitwan

After breakfast, drive from Lumbini to Chitwan, one of Nepal’s most renowned wildlife and nature destinations. The 180 km journey takes approximately five hours through scenic Terai plains, small villages, and lush farmlands, giving you a glimpse of rural Nepali life along the way.

Arrive in Chitwan, home to Chitwan National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and Nepal’s premier wildlife sanctuary. The park encompasses grasslands, forests, and river systems that host a wide variety of wildlife, including endangered one-horned rhinoceroses, Bengal tigers, gharial crocodiles, and numerous bird species. After settling in at your hotel, take some time to enjoy the natural surroundings and prepare for the next day’s immersive jungle safari and cultural experiences.

Day 08 – Chitwan Jungle Safari & Cultural Activities

Spend a full day exploring the lush wilderness of Chitwan National Park, one of Asia’s most celebrated wildlife sanctuaries. Begin with an Elephant Safari, offering a unique opportunity to observe wildlife such as one-horned rhinoceroses, deer, monkeys, and exotic birds in their natural habitat.

Enjoy a canoeing or dugout canoe ride along the serene rivers, where you may spot aquatic wildlife and enjoy the calm beauty of the park from the water. Take part in guided nature walks, led by experienced naturalists, to explore the flora, birdlife, and hidden corners of the forest.

In the evening, immerse yourself in Tharu cultural experiences, featuring traditional music, dance, and storytelling that showcase the rich heritage of the local community. This combination of adventure, nature, and culture provides a deep and memorable connection to the Terai region and its people.

Day 09 Chitwan to Nagarkot (via Kathmandu)

After breakfast, drive back to Kathmandu, enjoying the scenic landscapes of the Terai plains and hill regions along the way. Continue onward to Nagarkot, a picturesque hilltop village situated at an altitude of 2,175 meters.

Nagarkot is famous for its breathtaking panoramic views of the Himalayas, including the world’s highest peak, Mount Everest, as well as the majestic ranges of Langtang, Ganesh, and Annapurna. It is an ideal spot for photography, sunrise and sunset viewing, and simply relaxing in the serene mountain environment. Spend the evening soaking in the crisp mountain air, wandering through local trails, or enjoying a peaceful moment at your hotel while admiring the Himalayan panorama.

Day 10 Departure from Kathmandu

After breakfast, drive to Tribhuvan International Airport (approx. 1.5 hours) for your onward flight. Depart Nepal with memories of sacred temples, Himalayan adventures, cultural insights, and spiritual experiences that will last a lifetime.
